The Code of Conduct (CoC) envisages the project guidelines and ethical standards agreed upon by the members of the research unit "The Production and Reproduction of Social Inequalities: Global Contexts and Concepts of Labor Exploitation“. The document is tailored to the specific multidisciplinary and multisited qualities of the research unit, involving international collaboration of project partners from both the Global South and Global North. The CoC describes the aims and structure of the research unit before presenting the roles and responsibilities of the individual project members. It covers key issues of research ethics, data management, and research integrity, and highlights the need for constant critical reflection and transparency. The document further describes the coordination, administration, and collaboration within the research unit. Finally, questions of authorship and acknowledgement for publications as well as methods of dispute resolution in the possible event of conflict are being discussed.
